Carrie Smith is an American multi-media journalist, born and raised in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. With over five years of experience in digital and print media, she specializes in crafting engaging content that amplifies stories and increases audience reach. 

Carrie began her writing career while pursuing a bachelor's degree in journalism at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, starting as a contributing writer for the Amherst Wire and freelancing in her spare time. 

After entering the entertainment realm, her portfolio doubled– including interviews with Ron Pope, Takara, and Tekno, among other acclaimed entrepreneurs. Simultaneously, she worked for Live Nation, operating VIP events for artists. 

Though primarily excelling in this space, her experience includes covering lifestyle, business, energy and more. Additionally, since her time in college, Carrie has advanced her skills in photography, videography, and digital content production. She currently works as an associate editor in Denver, Colorado covering mining and minerals.
